If you’re managing social media for your own business, clients, or even multiple platforms at once, you’ll know how quickly it can start to feel overwhelming. Planning content, uploading posts, sticking to a schedule, and trying to stay consistent is a lot, especially when you’re already juggling everything else.
I’ve tried quite a few scheduling tools over the years, and some of them are overly complicated, expensive, or just not very intuitive. Recently, I started using Publer, and honestly, it’s one of the few tools I’ve stuck with and actually enjoy using.
This post is my honest review of Publer, what I like about it, what stands out, and who I think it’s best for.
Just so you know, this blog post contains affiliate links. That means if you sign up through one of my links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend tools I genuinely use and like, and Publer is one of those tools. I’d still be using it either way.
What Is Publer?
Publer is a social media scheduling and management tool that lets you plan, schedule, and publish content across multiple platforms from one dashboard. Instead of jumping between apps or logging in and out of different accounts, everything lives in one place.
You can use Publer for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, which is a big plus if you’re managing more than one channel or client.
One of the first things I noticed is how clean and simple the dashboard is. It doesn’t feel cluttered or overwhelming, which makes a massive difference when you’re logging in regularly.
The Posting Schedule Feature (One of My Favourite Parts)
The posting schedule option is genuinely one of the best features.
Instead of choosing a date and time every single time you upload a post, you can set up a posting schedule in advance. For example, you might decide that Pinterest posts go out at certain times on certain days, and Instagram posts have their own schedule.
Once that’s set up, all you have to do is upload your content, and Publer automatically slots it into the next available time. This makes batching content so much easier and removes a lot of unnecessary decision-making.
If you manage multiple accounts or struggle to stay consistent, this feature alone can save hours each month.
Uploading Pinterest Posts Is Actually Easy
If you use Pinterest regularly, you’ll know that not every scheduling tool handles it well. A lot of them feel clunky or overcomplicated, which can make posting more frustrating than it needs to be.
Publer makes Pinterest scheduling feel refreshingly simple. Uploading images is quick, adding descriptions and links is easy, and scheduling pins doesn’t feel confusing or time-consuming. It works especially well if you like batching your content in one go.
What I particularly like about using Publer for Pinterest is:
Easy image uploads without unnecessary steps
Clear fields for descriptions and links
Simple bulk uploads for scheduling multiple pins
A clean layout that doesn’t feel overwhelming
If you’re using Pinterest to drive blog traffic, sell products, or build long-term visibility, Publer fits smoothly into that workflow and makes staying consistent much easier.
Ideas Boards: A Feature I Didn’t Know I Needed
Ideas Boards is a newer feature inside Publer, and it’s quickly become something I really like.
It allows you to save content ideas, post inspiration, and notes in one place without having to schedule them straight away.
This is perfect for when ideas pop into your head, but you don’t have the time (or energy) to create the content right then.
Instead of keeping random notes, screenshots, or half-finished drafts everywhere, you can store ideas neatly inside Publer and come back to them during your content planning sessions.
For planners, list-makers, and anyone who likes having their ideas organised, this feature is genuinely useful.
Pricing: Reasonable Without Feeling Cheap
Pricing is another area where Publer really stands out for me.
I’ve tried various social media scheduling tools in the past, including Later and Metricool, and one thing that always frustrated me was paying for far more than I actually needed. I only wanted to manage around four platforms, but a lot of tools bundle loads of platforms together, which meant I was paying for features and access I wasn’t using.
With Publer, the pricing feels much more fair and realistic. You’re not locked into an expensive plan just to access basic features, and you’re paying for what you actually use rather than a long list of platforms you don’t need. That makes it a really good fit for small businesses, freelancers, and social media managers who want flexibility without unnecessary costs.
On top of that, the discounts for leaving reviews genuinely made a difference for me. By sharing honest feedback, I was able to save a reasonable amount of money, which made the pricing feel even better value overall. It’s a nice bonus, especially when you’re already happy using the tool anyway.
It feels like one of those tools that actually understands its users, instead of charging premium prices for features most people don’t want or need.

Who I Think Publer Is Best For
Based on my experience using it, Publer is a really good fit for people who want to stay organised and consistent without overcomplicating things.
It works especially well for:
Small business owners managing their own social media, who want to plan content in advance, stay visible online, and avoid logging in every day just to post
Freelancers and social media managers handling multiple accounts, where having everything in one dashboard and a clear posting schedule saves a lot of time
Content creators who rely on Pinterest for blog traffic, product sales, or long-term visibility and need an easy way to batch and schedule pins
Anyone who prefers simple, easy-to-use tools instead of overly technical systems that take weeks to figure out
If you like being organised, planning ahead, and using tools that just work without a steep learning curve, Publer ticks a lot of boxes.
Are There Any Downsides?
No tool is perfect, but there’s nothing about Publer that’s been a deal-breaker for me. Like any scheduling tool, it’s worth spending a bit of time setting up your schedules properly so everything runs smoothly.
Once it’s set up, it becomes one of those tools that just quietly does its job in the background.
Final Thoughts: Would I Recommend Publer?
Yes, absolutely.
Publer is a genuinely solid social media scheduling tool that makes staying consistent easier, not harder. The posting schedule feature is a real time-saver, Pinterest uploads are smooth, Ideas Boards add a really useful layer of organisation, and the pricing feels fair for what you get.
When you add in the option to earn discounts for leaving reviews, it becomes even better value, especially if you’re using the tool regularly.
If you’re looking for a social media scheduling tool that’s easy to use, well thought out, and doesn’t overcomplicate things, Publer is definitely worth checking out. You can take a look here:👉 https://publer.com/Assistup
